Project Description
The World's Only Heated & Non-Heated Drill Floor
As AMS® is the only provider of both heated & non-heated anti-slip matting specifically engineered for drill floors, we were involved exclusively in the FEED for the Seadrill's' new build, the West Rigel. The scope of work encompassed a comprehensive drill floor matting package with specific attention on deicing the escape routes and creating a uniform high traction drill floor, as it was multiple levels. This package was produced to a 40mm thickness.
