AMS® was contacted by the MTA for a better way to provide safety for their 90M+ passengers per year in cold climates.  They also needed an environmentally proactive product that would reduce/remove the need for salting/sanding.   We listened to our client and provided several prototype options, which also included visual nosings, profile options and custom bevels to blend into the exiting structure for a smooth transition of surfaces.   Testing began in 2020 for evaluation on performance, safety and financial savings

This systems can be operated remotely from a control center for the reduction/removal of overtime labor and associated costs, an enormous financial gain for any operator.
